DURING THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC, and in this season of suspended programs and worship services, Bethel UMC is trying to practice our love for God and for our neighbors by staying home.

We offer a conference call worship service by phone at 9:20 a.m. on Sundays in April, and will continue those as long as we are asked to shelter in place.

We are sharing some virtual gathering times via ZOOM.

If you are interested in the details for these "connecting places," please call the church office at 336-765-8016, or email us at

These are unprecedented times for most of us. We are all learning new ways of caring for one another by maintaining physical absence from one another, practicing social distancing, honoring the laws and guidance of governmental leaders and medical professionals, especially the CDC, and health professionals in the Triad of NC

We invite you to come often to our website:

for updates and new information about ways we are seeking to cultivate meaningful connections with God and one another as we pray for the world.

Check us out on FaceBook, too: Bethel Church.

When restrictions are lifted and it is safe to return to places of worship, we will once again offer Sunday School for children, youth and adults at 9:45 a.m. at Bethel UMC.

We will enjoy once again, in real time and space, enjoy Gathering and Fellowship at 10:45 a.m. and Worship at 11 a.m. on Sunday mornings.

To inquire about current virtual services, call 336-765-8016 or email us at
